How it all works

The physical section of our sessions primarily focus on boxing technique, discipline and general fitness, allowing students to release negative emotion and build self confidence.

We begin by working on stance, footwork and boxing combinations. This allows students to achieve the basic boxing fundamentals. Students work in groups, pairs or individually using professional boxing gloves and pads provided by Time Out Boxing, to help students improve focus and reduce negative emotion. 

We incorporate high tempo combinations, body weight exercises and cardiovascular drills, whilst tracking the physical and emotional progression of each individual student by working closely with their teachers, to monitor the impact of the intervention. 

The verbal section see's students run through a cool down led by their coach, whilst having verbal reflection time. Students will run through a mentoring process, discussing the importance of emotional regulation, whilst offering coping strategies and sharing time to build self awareness. 

Our objective is for students to leave interventions emotionally regulated, focused and ready to re-enter their school day.

After School Boxing Club

Our after school boxing sessions are a great opportunity for students to take their boxing skills to the next level whilst building confidence. Professional gloves and pads are provided by Time Out Boxing.
